Dr. David Ishley will always hold a very special place in our hearts as the visionary and founder of Endodontic Specialists of Colorado in 1981. Endodontic Specialists was conceived and dedicated to the proposition that excellence, customer service, and caring would lead to professional success. We remain very clear to our purpose – offering the “best endodontic and implant care possible in a timely caring manner.”
Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Wade Kennedy graduated with dental honors on an Air Force scholarship from the University of Florida in 1978. While on active duty, he completed a 1-year general practice residency and served 3 years as a general dentist. He then went on to complete a 2-year combined endodontic Board eligible program at the University of Texas and Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio. After 2 years as Chief of Endodontics at Andrews Air Force Base, he joined Endodontic Specialists of Colorado in 1986. Dr. Kennedy is also a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute, has served on the Colorado Springs Dental Society Board, was head of the Penrose Hospital Dental Section, and has lectured on endodontics throughout Southern Colorado.
Wade has been married to Nancy since 1979 and has two children, Christopher, a Veterinarian, and Heather, a Cross Fit trainer and athlete. When not doing root canals, Wade enjoys gardening, target shooting, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Symphony, Air Force Falcon basketball, and the Broncos.
Dr. Kennedy believes that the highest quality, compassionate endodontic care includes a careful and accurate diagnosis and state-of-the-art technical excellence reinforced by many years of seasoned dental experience.
